Paul Chepolis is an artist with a mission.

Having worked with copper as a sculptural medium for some 40 years, he has recently been creating and fabricating custom luminaires - light fixtures - with copper.  His recent body of work was informed by his sculptural vocabulary.  The constraints and parameters of copper as a medium are largely informing his new designs.

His mission  is nothing less than to eliminate the perceptual chasm between fine  art and functional art  by permanently realigning preconceptions of a chandelier's form.

An award-winning sculptor, Paul Chepolis    had a sculptural installation at Bergdorf Goodman and has shown at numerous galleries in New York and the New York region.

Chepolis is a long-term resident of Manhattan, with a studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
